megan + andrew's casual summer engagement session

Don’t you love when a friend of a friend becomes your great friend? That’s Megan for me. We met through mutual friends, and when our work lives intersected, the friendship cemented. Megan is driven and ambitious, fiercely loyal and deeply kindhearted. She found a great match in Andrew, who is getting his M.D. through the Navy. Megan is a bubbly Type A personality, and Andrew perfectly complements her as the embodiment of strength, commitment and intentionality.

For their engagement photos, Megan and Andrew wanted to relive their first date at a local Atlanta spot that has since become a favorite: Saltyard. We started by exploring Tanyard Creek Park—nestled just a couple of blocks away—then settled onto the Saltyard patio and toasted to a romance that was kindled between this restaurant’s walls.

Andrew’s job relocated these two to San Diego (tough life, I know…) but they’ll be back in Atlanta this April for their romantically industrial wedding at The Foundry. I cannot wait to celebrate with these two and their friends and family in just a couple of short months!
