sweet family session in columbus, ga

It’s so fun to witness college friends entering new stages of life. Hannah and I went to college together (English majors unite!), then she fell in love and married Ian. A couple of years later, their daughter, Liesl, made her debut. And honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever met a happier, gigglier, smilier baby than little Liesl. I mean, look at that girl!

My husband, Stevie, and I took a little road trip from Atlanta to visit these three in Columbus, Georgia, while Ian was stationed at Fort Benning. We spent the weekend eating Thai food, wandering through the quaint Columbus downtown area, catching up over coffee and pancakes, and—of course—capturing some sweet memories of their little family of three with my camera.

We’re so lucky to be surrounded by friends like these, and—even though they’ve since been relocated to Fort Polk in Louisiana—we’re so grateful that distance can’t possibly extinguish the immense amount of love we have for the Quinn family!
